Staring at a White Wall - currently in R&D

By Laura Sophie Helbig. We are currently undergoing a research and development period for this exciting new play about chronic fatigue and hidden illnesses. We are looking in to projection mapping techniques to portray what it's like to have chronic fatigue. We are partnering with visual artist, Janie Moore for this production. Due to tour 2026. 5 Years

5 Years is a new play by Hayley Davis, which toured the UK in 2023. It used cutting edge hologram technology to turn the spotlight on body dissatisfaction and the devastating effects it can have on our mental health. A 2011 survey conducted in the UK found that 30% of women would trade at least one year of their life to achieve their ideal body. 20% would trade 5 years of their life. In 5 Years, the possibility of this exchange is a reality.

We used a hologram version of our lead actor to represent the changes and modifications that the lead character was prepared to do to her own body to achieve "perfection." The idea was demonstrate how we are never satisfied with the changes, how the goal posts about beauty keep changing and how we lose our identity in the pursuit of perfection.

Mrs Scrooge

In collaboration with Sarah Gain Productions, Mrs Scrooge is written by Hannah Khalil and began life as an online interactive theatre show for children during the pandemic. It grew into a live stage show, which kept interactive elements through digital technology. Amongst throwing digital snowballs, the audience were also able to draw pictures which were included in Mrs Scrooge's art gallery. The show appeared at the Hawth's festive season in 2022.
